Amit is a senior integration engineer at Checkmate, where he has spent 8 years building the technical backbone connecting major restaurant chains to third-party delivery platforms — UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and beyond.
His work spans nine POS systems, six delivery platforms, and the enterprise pipelines that move menus for thousands of locations at once. He built the integration behind Checkmate's #1 revenue-generating brand (Five Guys) and delivered its first Google Food Ordering partnership (Cafe Zupas).
Ten national brands, launched end-to-end.
Built the foundational DSP integration via NCR Aloha order injection — one of Checkmate's earliest enterprise-scale builds — plus Wendy's Canada (Skip the Dishes) and Wendy's UK. Later drove the Tray POS RFP and rebuilt the integration for the new platform across ~1,000 locations.
Built Checkmate's Lightspeed integration from scratch, expanded across UberEats, Postmates, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Deliveroo — including a 54-store coordinated Postmates launch — and maintained parallel Classic and Series K integrations. Now Checkmate's #1 revenue-generating brand.
The largest single-brand launch in Checkmate history, and the first brand through the Inspire Brands Everyware/MBDP pipeline Amit helped build. Ran brand-wide LTO menu runs across 2,200+ locations — work that exposed and drove the RDS infrastructure upgrade.
Fully proprietary POS with triple-nested modifier complexity — one of Checkmate's hardest integrations. Built custom parsing logic, ran a store-by-store Chicago rollout, and led the three-way Uber AV / Coco autonomous robot delivery pilot.
Mapped the full 964-location Simphony fleet for integration planning, then ran a continuous weekly rollout cadence — multiple store go-lives per week — built on stable, repeatable processes rather than a single launch event.
Second Inspire brand through the Everyware pipeline. Executed a 3PD-to-Everyware conversion migrating existing DSP menu configurations for 1,000 stores, driving further Bulk Scheduler optimizations for multi-brand runs.
An 8–12 month Brink integration with double-nested modifier complexity, gated safely behind a custom Flipper feature flag. Became Checkmate's first Google Food Ordering integration partner, opening an entirely new ordering channel.
Discovered Speedline's API was cloud-accessible, eliminating the local Windows connector — a decision that became the architecture pattern for every future Speedline brand. Added a Loke loyalty integration on top; Jet's called the results "off the charts."
Brought Dunkin' live through the Everyware pipeline after an earlier direct-API attempt, solving condiment import failures and zero-price item logic. For BWW, handled extensive wing/sauce modifier complexity and supported the ConverseNow voice AI launch war room.

Infrastructure that outlived the launches.
Co-built the unified architecture that onboards Inspire's entire portfolio — Arby's, Sonic, BWW, Dunkin', Wendy's — handling bulk menu ingestion, Simphony mapping, batch imports, and coordinated LTO runs across thousands of locations.
Identified the database bottleneck exposed by Arby's 9-hour LTO runs and drove the RDS upgrade that enabled multi-brand concurrent runs with significantly reduced processing times.
Heavy contributor to the internal tool powering brand-wide menu change runs — coordinating LTO runs across Arby's (2,200+), Sonic (~1,000), and Wendy's (~1,000) locations.
Used Flipper feature flags to gate new integration behaviors at location or brand level — incremental, risk-managed rollouts that never destabilized unrelated production brands.
A three-way integration connecting a restaurant menu, an autonomous delivery robot fleet, and an in-store POS — built without any prior playbook.
